TRUTH

Truth is the door of the spirit's Ananda, its beatific nature.
SRI AUROBINDO

The Truth is not a dogma one can learn once and for all and impose as a rule. The Truth is infinite like the Supreme Lord, and it manifests at every moment to those who are sincere and attentive.
THE MOTHER

We shall perceive that the truth we seek is made up of four major aspects: Love, Knowledge, Power and Beauty. These four attributes of the Truth will express themselves spontaneously in our being. The psychic will be the vehicle of true and pure love, the mind will be the vehicle of infallible knowledge, the vital will manifest an invincible power and strength, and the body will be the expression of a perfect beauty and harmony.
THE MOTHER

Absolute Truthfulness
Must govern one’s life if one wants to be close to the Divine.

TRUST

Trust is the mind's and heart's complete reliance on the Divine and its guidance and protection.
SRI AUROBINDO

The core of the inner surrender is trust and confidence in the Divine. One takes the attitude: "I want the Divine and nothing else. I want to give myself entirely to him and since my soul wants that, it cannot be but that I shall meet and realise him. I ask nothing but that and his action in me to bring me to him, his action secret or open, veiled or manifest. I do not insist on my own time and way; let him do all in his own time and way; I shall believe in him, accept his will, aspire steadily for his light and presence and joy, go through all difficulties and delays, relying on him and never giving up. Let my mind be quiet and trust him and let him open it to his light; let my vital be quiet and turn to him alone and let him open it to his calm and joy. All for him and myself for him. Whatever happens, I will keep to this aspiration and self-giving and go on in perfect reliance that it will be done."
SRI AUROBINDO

Who trusts the Divine never leaves the loving arms of the Divine wherever his body may be.

TRANSFORMATION

There are ... different statuses of transformation. First is the psychic transformation, in which all is in contact with the Divine through the individual psychic consciousness. Next is the spiritual transformation in which all is merged in the Divine in the cosmic consciousness. Third is the supramental transformation in which all becomes supramentalised in the divine gnostic consciousness. It is only with the last that there can begin the complete transformation of mind, life and body - in my sense of completeness.
SRI AUROBINDO

Timidity in Attachment to the Divine
Full of life, but not knowing how to change this life into an offering to the Divine.
Further comment: Timidity in attachment: I want to say that the attachment is not complete and unreserved; there are some parts of the being that question and hold back because they do not have total trust; one might say that it is a conditional attachment, such as: "If the Divine does what I want, I will remain attached to Him."
